Please execute flash utility, such as Awdflash.exe, Aflash.exe etc.   Click here to see how to do.
It will show the type of FlashROM chip that is equipped on your motherboard. Base on this information, you can select the suitable RD1 model from the chart below.
The BIOS chip model shown on your screen will not always be the same as the model listed in the chart, especially the last part, eg. /5V, /3V, LPC, FWH. This can be ignored. The front part, eg. AMD, represents the IC manufacturer and it may show different abbreviation depending on the different utilities.

Make sure the shape of your FlashROM type. Refer to Check point 2 of http://www.ioss.com.tw/web/English/RD1BIOSSavior/SelectionChart.html If DIP type, choose 2M model and PL model for PLCC.

We offer only PLCC model. If your FlashROM type is DIP, there is no suitable RD1 model avairable.

8X/PMC4

You can choose both 8X and PMC4 model, however, older motherboard BIOS does not support PMC4. Approximately Year 2002 and later shipment motherboard can choose PMC4 without problem.

8X2/PMC2

You can choose both 8X2 and PMC2 model, however, older motherboard BIOS does not support PMC2. Approximately Year 2002 and later shipment motherboard can choose PMC2 without problem.

LPC2/PMC2

You can choose both LPC2 and PMC2 model, however, older motherboard BIOS does not support PMC2. Approximately Year 2002 and later shipment motherboard can choose PMC2 without problem.
